Develop detailed functional specifications for selected design concept.
Prepare vendor questionnaire and solicit responses from vendor community.
Evaluate responses to questionnaire and prepare vendor short list.
Solicit bids by sending functional specifications to vendors on short list.
Schedule and attend site tours/demos etc. as required to aid decision process.
Evaluate bids and select preferred vendor(s).
Negotiate contract with chosen vendor(s).
Develop implementation schedule.
Develop and manage detailed facility migration plan.
Manage system implementation.
Integrate new systems with legacy software and material handling systems
Develop and execute system acceptance testing.
Create and manage system punch list.
Develop system documentation and train personnel.
Manage system cutover and go live.
